Malik Djoudi Malik Djoudi Ensemble

After multiple experiences as a singer (in English) in various rock bands, Malik Djoudi truly found his way and established his delicate, almost androgynous voice by embarking solo on minimal electro-pop tinged with understated French chanson. The stylish and affecting singer/songwriter has a heavy heart but a light singing touch, crafting infectious chiaroscuro ballads, most of which are laced with soft blue melancholy evocative of Christophe, Etienne Daho, Sébastien Tellier and Flavien Berger in no specific order. Discovered by La Souterraine, an invaluable A&R organization scouting for new talents from the Francophone music scene, Malik Djoubi broke out with the very promising debut album Un (2017), and garnered further recognition with the luminous following album Tempéraments (2019), featuring a duo song (“À tes côtés”) with Étienne Daho – a kind of generational endorsement. Conceived with the seasoned producer Renaud Lestang, his third album Troie (2021) – which features three duos, including one with the actor Isabelle Adjani – has enhanced his glowing aura, which sparkles in a live setting.

Seule sur scène, clavier et platine vinyle valise au bout des doigts, Lisa Ducasse invite au voyage de ses textes et sa voix. Née à l’Ile Maurice et actuellement installée à Paris, elle conserve et cultive un attachement farouche à l’enfance et à la capacité d’émerveillement dans sa vie adulte et créative. Inspirées d’échappées réelles, ses chansons font preuve d’une volonté de dire la rencontre du vulnérable et de l’indomptable, en notes et en mots déliés.

Lauréate du dispositif Variations en 2022, puis du Chantier des Francofolies et du FAIR en 2023, elle prépare actuellement un premier album pour une sortie prévue en avril 2024.
