The question has parents and the entire society wondering: in a world where virtual exchanges are increasingly vying with reality, how can we instill in and pass on to children a taste for living things? To address what they call the fourth revolution of the Internet, choreographer Natacha Balet, who founded the company Tournicoti in 2013, and videographer Baptiste Klein have chosen dance, circus and play. No wonder, these two met while performing together on the shows of a certain José Montalvo, whose signature style involves playful cross-pollinations of image and movement. The show is geared towards children aged 3 but not only. Grownups, chaperoning parents or not, will marvel at the dreamy and inventive choreography, which successively turns multicolored balloons into a “Facebook friend” and subway rider. Moving around with these surprising partners, Natacha Balet and her stage sidekick, circus performer Fabien Milet, make up an airy and tender ballet. As fragile and precious as human relations are.
